Hearts-a-bustin'

Hearts-a-bustin' is a low-maintenance deciduous shrub that derives its name from the showy warty capsules that split open to reveal red-orange seeds in the fall. It is found in a variety of soil conditions and tolerates a variety of sun conditions as well. It can reach a mature height of 4 to 6 feet.
