Mahr Park Arboretum is a 265-acre park in Madisonville, Kentucky, showcasing a rich natural environment looming with wildlife, native trees, and plants. The park was gifted to the City of Madisonville in 2009 by Dr. Merle and Glema Mahr and officially opened in October of 2016. The park offers a variety of recreational and educational opportunities including trails, a Nature Play Area, fishing ponds, a kayak launch, dog parks, disc golf courses, and picnic pavilions.
