Slender silhouette sweetgum

Slender silhouette sweetgum is a tall, columnar tree that will grow to a height of 50 to 60 feet with a width of 5 to 6 feet. It is best planted in poor soil and tough spots to ensure that it does not grow too quickly to maintain its narrow habit. If planted in ideal conditions, it can grow too rapidly and split. Plant in full sun and moist, well-drained soils.
