Silver maple

Silver maple are very fast-growing. Their leaves are green on top and silvery-white on the underside, hence their name. These trees grow to 50 to 80 feet. Full sun and partial shade are best for this tree. The silver maple grows in a wide range of soil types but prefers deep, moist, acidic soil. It can withstand flooding and has moderate drought tolerance.
