Chinkapin oak

Chinkapin oak is a member of the white oak family, but unlike most white oaks it is tolerant to alkaline soil. It prefers full sun but adapts to a wide range of soil conditions. Chinkapin oak can reach a mature height of 40 to 50 feet.
