Winterberry is deciduous shrub that grows between 3 to 15 feet tall. Clusters of small, white flowers appear in early to mid summer with yellow, red, or orange fruit appearing in the fall or winter. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist sandy, loamy, clay soils.
